Any event be it cultural, artistic or scientific needs some sort of a grand opening party. After its ending, everybody seems to loose interest in the actual exhibit. To counteract this trend Hotel Gontz will consist of just such a party with every event and participant being part of it. The whole will be nothing less than an extended party on several floors, rooms, lobby’s and so on. Hotel Gontz builds on a very special culture of amusement allowing for innovation, implementation and an intense collaboration between artists and designers of different disciplines

SPOILER TV thrives on the diversity of a digitalized culture, a large creative source evident in its content. It creates a non-commercial space outside cheap mainstream programs. SPOILER TV is a product of Internet culture and will develop accordingly. SPOILER TV is a sample of that creative intellectual potential out there – wherever that is.
Spoiler TV is open source internet Tv. Everybody can join us and became a broadcaster.

Breaking the waves @ sibiu
“Breaking the waves” sau viata binecuvintata a lui Bess
Din iulie se lucreaza la aceasta piesa la Sibiu. Si recunosc ca a fost una dintre cele mai solicitante piese la care am lucrat pina acum. Am avut imensul avantaj de avea 3 luni timp de lucru plus scenografia toata deja gata si montata pe scena si sa fiu tot timpul in sala impreuna cu “departamentul Audio” Vlaicu Golcea si cu “scena” Dragos Buhagiar. Radu Nica, regizorul piesei a avut mare incredere in noi si ne-a dat mina libera sa facem ce credem noi ca ar functiona mai bine. Si a pornit de la Buhagiar care a riscat mult propunind o scenografie care e asa de minimalista si oferindu-mi foarte multa suprafata de proiectie.
Dar de aici a crescut si presiunea asupra mea de a livra o alta imagine. Radu urma sa tina piesa pe scena jucata in realism, Filmul a fost filmat in realism. Eu atunci trebuia sa ma duc spre imaginar si sa creez o lume a lui Bess. Un alter ego visual. Si ca intotdeauna exista problema ca video sa devina prea puternic si sa acopere actorii ceeea ce nu doream. Vlaicu a fost de mare ajutor pentru ca el dadea nota in care se desfasura respectiva scena, si pornind de la sunetul lui produceam partea video. A fost o mare placere sa stau tot timpul in sala si sa lucrez direct de acolo pentru ca oricind doream aveam acces la scena cu proiectiile si puteam verifica daca functioneaza ceva sau nu si in acelasi timp puteam tot timpul sa iau actorii si sa filmez sau sa fotografiez pentru a produce respectivele benzi video. Dupa care seara in timpul snurului incercam diferite variante de benzi video si inregistram snurul pentru a vedea a doua zi ce se potrivea si ce nu. A fost un joc minunat de ping pong de idei si versiuni. De altfel am ramas cu mult mai mult material decit e in piesa si care nu a intrat. E minunat sa te uiti inapoi in arhiva si sa vezi repetitiile si cum o scena s-a transformat in timpul acestor luni.
Cred ca unul din punctele importante la aceasta piesa a fost si sunetul. Gindit de vlaicu golcea ca design de sunet, o tehnica tipica filmelor, s-a incercat creearea unui univers sonor care sa te imbiie si fara sa simti sa te duca pe zona emotionala pe care o cerea scena respectiva. Dorinta noastra a fost ca sunetul sa nu mai fie ilustrativ ci un propiu univers de care sa nu fii constient dar care sa te poarte prin acesta poveste. Pot da un simplu exemplu de folosire a acestui procedeu in scena operatiei lui Ian cind Bess se roaga si in sala se aud in surround bucati ciudate de rugaciune dar tinute la un nivel acustic destul de jos astfel incit sa iti creeze senzatia ca le auzi. Si ar mai fi multe de zis despre sunet dar cred ca Vlaicu o poate face mult mai bine decit mine.
In rest ma bucur ca piesa aceasta seteaza noi standarde.

Vineri noapte a fost petrecerea Raspiua la Gogu in studio. A fost exact ca in anii 80, cu pufuleti, mentosan, pistoale cu apa si caldura de camin cultural.
